Taft HR Solutions LLC is an affiliate of Taft,
Stettinius & Hollister LLP, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The
firm's illustrious history stretches back to 1885 and proudly includes
seminal legislation in the budding labor policy of the United States,
the Taft-Hartley Act of 1947. In that historic move by the U.S.
Congress, the late Ohio Senator Robert A. Taft, an attorney and
one of our former partners, helped establish a more balanced playing
field between business owners and unions in post-World War II America. This
act was defended from attack by our now-retired partner Mack Swigert,
and it remains today a centerpiece of the American labor system.
The focus of our new unit is the 21st Century marketplace and to
try and help you conduct business in an environment where harassment
and discrimination prevention training can lead to a workforce with
better morale.We also want to provide you with certain defenses
to claims only permitted to the savvy employer who has been proactive
in its employment practices and training.
